Earn Money for your School - The Scholarship Quiz - Talk About Canada!™

Student Councils or student groups who help us publicize the contest can earn a dollar for each student they get to participate in the program. This is an easy way to raise money for a favourite charity or school program and can even be a platform to promote "school spirit". (Please note any student can try for the scholarship even if his or her school is not registered.)

There is no fee for participating in this program. Last year over ninety student groups participated.

Every school group that registers with us will earn a dollar (up to $200) for each of their students who register. There will also be a $200 bonus for the ten schools that get the most participants.

Students who are not graduating this year can participate to help the school. The school will earn a dollar for each of those students who scores at least 60%. They will not be eligible for the scholarships, but the names of those with perfect scores will be entered into a draw for twenty (20) $100.00 prices. (Since we provide links to all the answers, most people who make an effort will achieve this level.)

You must have a minimum of ten students participate in order to receive any payment.

Flyers and Handouts

Promote the contest. It's easy.

Post flyers (with tear-offs, Black And White or Colour).
Hand out flyers to History and Guidance teachers
Get teachers to use the quiz in their classes
Make announcements
Get material for your website
Print business cards and pass them out.
