The Talk About Canada!TM Scholarship Quiz is a national contest for students who are citizens or permanent residents of Canada
who wish to earn money for tuition. In order to be eligible to win a prize students must correctly answer 50 questions about
Canada. The quiz is on-line once a year for five to six weeks in January and February and offers 61 prizes totalling $45,000.

This is an excellent resource for civics and social studies teachers. Each question has links that will take the student to original Constitutional documents such as the British North America Act, 1867 and The Constitution Act, 1982, which contains the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, or to other helpful sites such as a government handbook, which is given to people preparing for the citizenship test. The quiz focuses on our rights and our responsibilities as Canadian citizens. Teachers must register their classes and will get online access to the scores of each of their students.
