Arts and Culture began for Canadians 7000 years ago when unknown natives made petroglyphs in what is now the northwest portion of Ontario. Arts and culture includes Dance, Music, Opera, Film, Television, Sculpture, Visual Arts, and the festivals and institutions that support and surround these activities.
